ive built my filter blue print allready and copyed several ideas from different models till i made my own . now ive heard useing bio balls will give me troble!! i ve seen several tanks at my lfs with bio ball chambers ! i pland on doing it an thought it would be benifishal .. most underwater and some out the water in a chamber were i can wash them out if i ever see dirtyness.... i ve heard too many people say remove it !!! why ??? all so if any one wonts to see that blue print ill show ya !!! any info ?>???

Hello!

I'm interested. It's pretty cool that you build your own filter. Does good job? Send me some pics. by chance. I have no idea why some people think that bioballs are harmful. Those are very beneficial for saltwater tanks without any live rocks or sand. But if you have enough good quality live rocks or/and sand, then bioballs are pretty much unnecessary. Let me see that home made filter please!

its not up and runing yet but i know it will work iam now adding a closed loop system..... any one wont to post advice on bio balls ??? and headers i pm u check it out
