I live in newfoundland ,Canada..I was wondering if anyone ever heard of using real seawater for the aquarium as i live only a mile away from the north atlantic ocean And it is very costly for seasalt here...........$50.00 a bag that will treat a 55 gallon tank.I can get the water free.Anyone here use real satwater?

it's good to use as the water will be teeming with all sorts of planktons,IF,u can get clean ones. collecting them near shoreline will not be ideal as the water there could be polluted.JMO.
