is it bad to move live rock around in an exsisting tank, also does this raise any of the different levels

You should be fine to move your rock around, but it's better not to have your hands in the tank too much. Obviously, moving stuff around will annoy your corals a bit if you have any. If not, it's a good idea to get it looking how you want before you add them. I would keep an eye on your water params for a few days afterward, but you should be ok. Hope you find this helpful.

the more you keep your hands out of the tank the better. moving the rock around will stir up nitrates, just be careful

Can someone tell me how to get some from the sea.( what to look for). have some diving buddies that can get it. Also , how can it be transported 600kms by road? must it be fully submerged in water
