I have a 125 long with a marbled cat shark, foxface lo, and a blue tang. I am thinking about adding about 4 more fish in the tank. Does anybody have any suggestions? (I ordered a naso tang so I will be adding him too) Im not that big of a fan of eels either.

how bout some shoal fish like chromis .......that would make your tank look full and natural and ALOT cheaper and easier to do chromis run 2-4 bucks a piece ...and you could put 10 in place of two of the big 4 you want .......

just a thought.........................Boss

thanks man, Yeah I have actually been looking at those. I like how they are kind of a schooling fish. It is hard to find some schooling wish for saltwater, but really easy to find them in freshwater. DO you know of any other schooling fish for saltwater that would be a good addition?

the chromis come in 2-3 different varieties and colors............unfortunately some other schooling fish are basically food, lol and really plain looking - -i would think the chromis would be your best bet

yeah I have been looking into the lionfish. I think that they are really neat looking. I am worried about the chromis and the shark. Right now I feed my shark silver sides, which are already about 2 inches long. I wonder if the chromis stay in a pack, then the shark wont mistake them as food. Any ideas?

keeping the shark well fed could help prevent him killing the others but its no guarantee

triggers are cool as hell........clown trigger, volitan trigger or a niger trigger......like puffs they are pretty aggressive but very active fish so they would be cool to watch as they almost never stop swimming

yeah triggers is a good idea. I do like those a lot. Clown triggers look very unique and cool. I will have to look more into them.

back to your idea of schooling fish, another type of schooling fish you could try which is a little bigger than chromis are Bangaii Cardinals... i know i probably misspelled that, but yeah. my lfs has a huge tank with maybe 8-10 of them schooled. they are in there with a few puffers and triggers.
