Do pufferfish get along with discus and loaches in a planted aquarium?? Also, I´m thinking about getting some shrimp to put into the aquarium. Will that mix work? My tank currently has loaches, discus, tetras and guppies.

Also, does ANYONE know where I can get livestock delivered to Puerto Rico?
Thanks.

Depends on the puffer as far as your shrimp are concerned. I believe Poetic Irony keeps several Dwarf Puffers in his 75? With discus. Dwarf Puffers have (seemingly unwillingly) always gotten along with shrimp in my situations. Larger varieties...probably won't. Go on youtube and search Fahaka Puffer. lol

And no, I don't.

Maybe you should go snorkeling with a long/wide net and see what kind of marine fish you can dig up. =P

I think he's being a bit general in the fact that if you stick your puffer in with some long finned small guys and they're in on their territory with nothing to break line of sight then there's gonna be some unhappy fish, and the puffers won't be the ones with the scars.

It's just that every book i've read on fish theres a puffer in the section of fish you dont want to ever keep in your tank. Sry bout that.
