Just a few weeks ago I posted in here somewhere that I didn't like shrimp, but I also said the same thing about fish a little over 6 months ago.
I'm becoming intrigued by the ugly little fellas, I mean the prehistoric-looking little creatures. I'm considering adding a few to one or more tanks. I've looked all over for compatibility but I can't find anything specific enough. I found a lot about general care requirements. It sounds like Ghost Shrimp may be good to start with?
Would they likely be compatible in either of these tanks?
1) 10 gallon with 1 female Betta and 2 African Dwarf Frogs - mostly just to be interesting and clean up what the other guys miss.
2) 6.6 gallon with 1 male Betta - mostly just to be interesting and maybe help control the brown algae in this tank, though not a requirement, and maybe clean up some of the food this picky Betta lets fall. (I also considered moving a couple of my oto's from my community tank into this tank short-term to clean the algae, but I think oto's may be too sensitive and I should just leave them alone.)
I've had bad experiences lately with some compatibility issues, so I hope you've got a minute to share your opinion.
