just posting about a new product, Current usa Powerbrite led linking moduels, they are very powerful and add a nice shimmer effect to any lighting system, its like halides but they dont produce nearly as much heat and theyre alot smaller. I got a few 460nm actinic strips to add to my T5's and the result was great, it shimmers like crazy and i couldnt believe how much more colorful my corals got. another winner from current!

Yeah, CURRENT RULES!Sounds great! I'm about to order one tonight. I'm a Current guy myself. A quick question. I'd like to add this system to my existing dual satelite..Does the Powrebright comes with any mounting set?
Cheers

yes, it comes with hanging brackets with screws and the higher you hang them the more intense the shimmer is. and little rubber mounts if your not hanging them, theyre definitly worht it, i put four on my 40 gallon and it looks like a full halide system,so i would definitly get more than one for your 75, another good thing is you can link two more strips up to your main link and run all 3 links from the same power cord

Thanx for the quick response! I don't have the 75G anymore:-((( I have a 10G nano:-) I've never heard of this system before, or I might have, just didn't pay any attention. Which one did you get? I think I'll go with 1 stripe 50/50. I saved some dough for metal halides, but I think I just found what I was looking for. If I set up a halide system I alsso have to spend money on a chiller.

Man, that's exactly what I wanted. Pretty affordable too. I did some research and reviews, and people has left nice feedbacks on this products.

What do you think maka? Which one shuld I get? 4 daylight, 4 actinics, or 50/50?
Keep on tanking!

if your going to be using it as your only source of light i would go with the 50/50 for sure, but more than one if its all your going to use, i read up and its definitly good to use these as your only light. i never thought id see the day when one watt lights would take over halides, Ahhhh Current...whats next?

i got 4 actinic strips to add a shimmer to my existing T5's, another good thing about these is the bulbs last up to 50,000 hours, i did the math, keeping them on for 12 hrs a day will make them last for about 12 years...give or take

I have the Current Dual Satellite,40W combined daylight(65K/10K) and a 40W combined actinic( 420nm/460nm) So I have a good 80 W already. That's 8 W/G.( I know it wasn't a brainer:-)

I just wanna add some extra brightness to my existing system.
