I'll have to look in to adding a salt water section, I haven't since I have no expereance with them. Thanks and stop by again and you may find that salt section. |

I know a guy that uses brewing yeast. He measures it out the same, but I'm not sure how long it goes for before he has to start fresh. |

I have had the odd fish die for no apparent reason, all water parameters in my tank are great. I just had one of my Siamese algae eaters die, all my other fish were fine and he was not being bothered ... |

I would also go with Aquarium silicone, it will bond to most materials very well and you will know that it's safe for your tank. Good luck with your project. |

Get some algae eaters such as Otocinclus they stay small or Siamese Algae Eaters, nether of them will hurt you plants and will do a good job at controlling the algae. |
