Is 100% silicone sealant safe for building glass fish tank ?

Or need aqaurium safe silicone...

I brought 100% silicone sealant from home depot for
1 bottle for 110 rupees which is 280 ml,
i got 2 bottles for 200 rupees means 4 US Dollars.

An i got a curlking Gun for 100 rupees means 2 US Dollars.

The aqaurium silicone sealant is for 200 rupees means 4 US Dollars for 280 ml bottle.

Should i use aqaurium silicone sealant or use 100% silicone sealant ?

I believe that if the sealant is 100% silicone, then it is safe for aquarium use. But, if i were you i would get a second opinion before you use it.

see if there is an fda approval but it should be ok I just sealed another 125 with something similar from maynards for four bucks also.

I converted a tank with half glass to full glass and i was sternly told to use the fish silicone from a few people...ive had the tank for 5-6 years and no problem...personally id rather just spend the extra money and be sure rather than trashing the whole tank
