Unless your tank is VERY heavily planted then i'm sorry but 0 nitrates is impossible.
What brand test kit do you have? Just because you have had the test kit for a week doesnt mean its aonly 1 week old unfortunately, it could have verywell been sitting on the shelf at your LFS for years.
Its not me with fish dying :) I'm trying to help you, if you dont give me the info asked for i cannot help, simple as that, take it how you want.

Well the brand name is ''API''. look, i will do the test's again and if there's is something wrong i will post a new Thread but hopefully it won't. i have planned to keep the 2 mollies but since 1's male and 1's female i will have to get another female because the male is chasing the female. same with my 3 platties ( they are not chasing the female, but i figure that's because she's only about 3-4 months old i would say, she's quite small ) 2 male 1 female. I will bring back my 2 guppies since i'm not 'mad' into them and there just a waste of space and i will get maybe 3-4 neon tetra's to add to my remaining 1 cardinal tetra.
thanks for the help really appreciate it. i am very new to the site and already i'm quite fond of it.
