Is there a water surface or does the water come all the way up to the table top?

yes the water goes all the way to the top than theres glass legs on each corner of the tank and you set the glass table top on that. It didnt come ith any filters and im kind of wondering what kind of filter to use any ideas?

maybe an in-tank filter of some sort with some disguise over it.

sounds good but than i gotta run the power cord under my carpet to hide it right? Man i love the thought of the gift and it looks freaking sweet but i think itll be more of a hassle.

dude... there are gorgeous expensive goldfish in the trade... i have a shitload of grade "A" carps... for that table i would have probably two of each depending on the size of the tank... that way i wouldn't need a heater, just some kind of filter and that' sit...

i have some very expensive fish i've invested in... the most i've spent on goldfish was 500 bucks for a top view ranchu... so far he's given me some gorgeous fry... i sold them all for 100 bucks a pop... i made my money back on 5 fish, and ended up selling 40+ of those same fish... so there is cash breeding goldfish... lol...

my most expensive fish was a platinum ogon sanke... 2,300 for a large koi... but again, i bred him with a sanke hi beko, and bam... some amazing offspring... i made my money back on 3 fish...
