Photo Caption: These are local native pavons or
tucunare aka peacock bass cichlids,
these are acclamatise to
residential piped waters and have
been in captivity for over 9 months
now,these samples are cichla
temensis(speckled pavon) + cichla
monoculus (common peacock bass ) and
they feed on normal shrimp whole
shelled + live feeder mollies and
platy's. They are well cultured and
behaved in a similar predatory but
less aggressive as in the wild
native amazon waters. Enjoy!

thanks fellas, if i could, i would restart and set up another oddball tank inclusing pb & a freshwater barramundi(sea bass) in my new enclosure, wish me luck ?!

Nice Peacocks, I hope mine get like that soon. Mine are about 3-4 inches right now. I will have pics of them soon.
