I catch these with spinners all the time over here in Miami. Butterfly Peacocks were introduced to Miami from the Amazon to beautify the canals and control the Sunfish population. Makes me wonder where you got them from, living in Singapore and everything. Anyways, don't release them into your local canal or lake, they are very aggressive fish and will destroy populations of fish thus messing with the ecosystem.
