  • I catch these with spinners all the time over here in Miami. Butterfly Peacocks were introduced to Miami from the Amazon to beautify the canals and control the Sunfish population. Makes me wonder where you got them from, living in Singapore and everything. Anyways, don't release them into your local canal or lake, they are very aggressive fish and will destroy populations of fish thus messing with the ecosystem. Fish avatar orishas92

 These are local native pavons or tucunare aka peacock bass cichlids these are acclamatise to residential piped waters and have been in captivity for over 9 months nowthese samples are cichla temensisspeckled pavon cichla monoculus common peacock bass and they feed on normal shrimp whole shelled live feeder mollies and platys They are well cultured and behaved in a similar predatory but less aggressive as in the wild native amazon waters Enjoy!
