 Photo Caption: Our Blood Parot Cichlid. I was told
he would get reddish orange, and
look like a killer goldfish, well he
is close to a year old and hasnt
changed to orange, just got darker.
After doing some research, it seems
i have an uncommon hybrid, hybrid.
Apparently a blood parrot bred with
a male convict cichlid, giving us a
black blood parrot with stripes?
Anyone know the truth to that or
not?

tank, the firemouth cichlid. This
picture does him or her no justice,
you cant even see the bright red on
the gils, bout 2 1/2 inches, bout 7
months old. A few months younger
than the other cichlids.
