Description: 120 Gallon (48X24X24) Ocanic Tech series. 30 Gallon Wet/Dry sump with a Aqua C, EV-180 skimmer driven by a Mag Drive 7 pump. About 150lbs of live rock for good biological filtration. Lighting my reef is a Hamilton Technology (2)X175 watt Iwasaki MH and (4)X65 watt powercompact dual actinic fixture. I use (2) Hydor Koralia powerheads and a Vortech MP40 for good flow.
Advice: Been at this for almost 4 years now and I have learned two BIG lessons. First, read, read and read some more. Second, don't buy cheap equipment or you'll buy twice. In line with that I say buy more than you think you'll need.
Fish Kept: Purple Tang, pair of Tomato Clowns, male / female pair of Labout's fairy wrasses, resplendant anthias, sleeper goby. Fire shrimp, 2 crocea clams
Corals/Plants: Mixed reef. Acropora, montipora, zoos, chalice, xenia. A little bit of everything.
Tank Size: 120 gallons
Quote: A father has pictures, where his money once was!
About Yourself: I got into this because my 4 year old daughter saw Finding Nemo and wanted a Clownfish, now I'm hooked.
