Description: 55 gallon planted w/pressurized Co2, 55 gallon mixed cichlids, 16 gallon bowfront, 10 gallon female bettas and african dwarf frogs, 5 gallon cherry shrimp.
Advice: Make frequent water changes and avoid unnecessary chemicals. Don\'t over crowd the fish and keep schooling fish in schools.
Fish Kept: 55 gallon--rainbows and siamese algae eaters, 55 gallon--peacock cichlids, black calvus, 16 gallon--female bettas, 10 gallon split--2 male bettas
Corals/Plants Kept: vallisneria, java fern, java moss, cryptocoryne wendtii, red rubin sword. oak leaves
About Yourself: I first got into planted aquariums about seven years ago after my plant ravaging silver dollars died. I gave up the hobby for a few years after a move, and am just getting back into it. I\\\'m fascinated by the Amazon and this tank started out as an Amazon biotope, but i\\\'ve kind of moved away from that. Unfortunately i live in an area with very hard water and mostly like soft water species so i filter through peat granules and use 1/2 RO water in all water changes.
