Description: My first tank, got it two years ago, it had been through some changes but has been the same for almost a year now. Planning on adding more sand and take out some gravel. I recently trimmed a ton of dying leaves and any leaf with the black algae. Bio wheel filter and a sponge filter with air pump.
Advice: Collect a bunch of rocks first for the tank. Than get only one type of fish, this is better in most cases.
Fish Kept: guppies 1 cory cat lots of spiral snails I bought 10 guppies, and they all died except one female. There are about 15 in the tank now of the next gen, and more... Originally: Males, 4 yellows and 1 sunset. Females, 3 sunset 1 split tale 1 yellow. And I can get rid of whichever ones I don't like.
Corals/Plants: 2 sword plants 1 Borneo fern 1 onion plant Java fern & moss black hair algae
Tank Size: 29 gallons
About Yourself: My uncle's tank inspired me to have my own.
