29 gallons freshwater fish tank (mostly fish and non-living decorations) - Just started this tank up with our Africans last week. We are planning on increasing rocks, especially on the left and right sides. So far, so good!

Description: 30"L x 12"W x 18"H; solid blue background; crushed coral subtrate; pagoda rocks, rock with huge holes for hiding; and beach rocks. Whisper30 power filter but will be upgrading to an Eheim Ecco canister filter as soon as we get the cash; hydro 150 heater; Whisper 40 air pump; lighting is 50/50 fluorescent actinic and blue. PH: 8-8.5; Temp: 80F; Ammonia/Nitrites 0; Nitrates: 10ppm; KH: 7 30% water changes weekly; Kents Malawi Buffer; Nitrivec, and Aqua Plus
Advice: Do your research; ask questions; and get a Python!
Fish Kept: Okay, the players are: 3 Electric Yellow Labs; 3 Electric Blues; 1 upside down catfish.
Corals/Plants: Crushed coral substrate; no plants as they are not part of an African Rift biotope.
