| Photo caption: | 55gal. tank. Mostly black gravel with a touch of blue. One Plastic rock(Petsmart) , about 60 pounds of petrified wood. Plants are fake as I have no luck with real plants. Am running Two 200W heaters(house temps are in 50's at night.) One Penguin 200 Biowheel, one Top Fin 60 Filter(came with tank.), one Penguin 550 power head with attached Bio-Sponge. Three airstones, twin 15W lights.

Kept some Oscars and Severums back in the day(1991-93), but I was moving all the time, and left my tank with an apartment mgr. so I didnt have to move it again. Been pretty lucky with this tank, as I have not lost any fish yet.(Except for the three Leopard Danios that were in there to start the cycling). I think the female Johanni got them. Hope you guys like my setup, I am always open to new ideas, so if anyone has a suggestion, let me hear it. I am considering a cannister filter in the future, but I think what I have now will suffice. Maybe some better lighting as well.
