Description: My fish tank is full of African Chiclids. I have about 25 assorted Africans, two plecos and some kind of catfish. It is a 90 gallon. I use a 60 gallon topfin filter, and a 55 Rena. My 55 rena is hooked up to a 300 watt heater. This tank is my pride and joy.
Advice: Gertting started is not easy! But once you do just keep on truckin. It takes alot of time and money but if you are into it, It's worth It! Study up on your species of fish and keep them as healthly as you can, there is nothing more pathetic then sick fish. My number one problem getting started was keeping my lights on too long and constantly battling algae blooms. Do not keep your lights on more then 8 hours a day. Buy a timer!
Fish Kept: 20-25 assorted africans 2 plecos 1 catfish
Corals/Plants: Plastic plants, not ready for the commitment of live plants.
Tank Size: 90 gallons
Quote: Excellence is a Habit!
About Yourself: I'm a 22 year old college student with fish on the brain.

COMMENTS

I rated this middle of the road... since its slightly out of focus, has no eye-pleasing background, and doesnt capture any of the fish' personality. I think a great picture should capture all of these and do it well, but this is just my opinion :) fish avatar
The picture is slightly out of focus but the fish can still be seen, and he's a healthy looking guy :) 7/10 fish avatar
Man, I think there are just trolls who go around giving bad ratings to everyone except maybe themselves or their friends. It's just the nature of these websites, unfortunately. I thought it was a pretty good picture. Cute fishy, too. fish avatar
